Scott was a primary architect/author for Pega's EAngage Enterprise Archtiecture framework which is being implemented at multiple Pega clients worldwide. Previous to Pega - Scott held senior technical positions at Protegrity, Vantiq, and ForgeRock. Scott spent 14 years with IBM in roles including Master Cloud Advisor and Lead Banking Architect. Prior to these roles, Scott was Lead Solutions Architect for IBM's WW Banking Center of Excellence working with the global banking clients. Additionally, Scott was the Principal Architect for IBM's SOA Technical Architecture team as the lead/mentor for over 100 IBM SOA Architects. Scott started with IBM in 2002 as one of the first WebSphere Brand Architects in IBM where he co-authored development of the WebSphere/SOA Reference Architecture and development of the Integration Architecture Workshop methodology.
Scott has held lead technical positions at Protegrity, Vantiq, ForgeRock, Extricity/Peregrine, Vitria, Illustra/Informix, and Sybase.
Scott is a former member of the IBM Academy of Technology where he worked on multiple key technical initiatives for IBM. Scott is an Open Group Distinguished Certified IT Architect, and is certified in OMG OECB and Six Sigma. ​Scott is a co-author of multiple Redbooks and has been published in developerWorks, WebSphere Developer Technical Journal, Web Services Journal and WebSphere Journal.
Scott is a frequent speaker on SOA and BPM topics for internal and external conferences including BPM Forum and Financial Insights.
